  1. .WAV files are sounds that play directly from the Windows(tm) operating
  2. system. With .WAV files, you can assign sounds to different applications
  3. and system events. You can also create music with .WAV files.

  5. Select the Sound Recorder icon to play and manipulate .WAV files.
  6.  
  7. In order to play .WAV files, the device driver that controls your MPC 
  8. compatible sound card must be installed and configured properly for 
  9. Windows 3.1. Use the Drivers option from the Control Panel to configure 
  10. your sound driver.

  12. Most problems associated with installing a device driver for your sound
  13. card can be attributed to IRQ and DMA conflicts with the hardware that is
  14. presently installed in your computer (like hard drives, tape controller
  15. cards, mice, modems, printers, network cards, etc). The IRQ and DMA values 
  16. that you assign to your sound card must be unique and supported by your 
  17. software. Refer to your sound card's documentation for changing IRQ and 
  18. DMA values.
