.WAV files are sounds that play directly from the Windows(tm) operating
system. With .WAV files, you can assign sounds to different applications
and system events. You can also create music with .WAV files.
Select the Sound Recorder icon to play and manipulate .WAV files.
In order to play .WAV files, the device driver that controls your MPC
compatible sound card must be installed and configured properly for
Windows 3.1. Use the Drivers option from the Control Panel to configure
your sound driver.
Most problems associated with installing a device driver for your sound
card can be attributed to IRQ and DMA conflicts with the hardware that is
presently installed in your computer (like hard drives, tape controller
cards, mice, modems, printers, network cards, etc). The IRQ and DMA values
that you assign to your sound card must be unique and supported by your
software. Refer to your sound card's documentation for changing IRQ and
DMA values.
We hope you enjoy using SoundWAV. If you have any questions or comments,
please contact us. Your feedback will be appreciated.
